Leasing
SHOR Real Estate, Inc. handles the leasing of retail space in shopping centers. The Firm works on an exclusive contract arrangement with Landlords, taking full responsibility for a projects success. We have had, or now have in effect, leasing contracts for properties in Richmond, Newport News, Williamsburg, Farmville, Lynchburg, Norfolk and Danville, Virginia along with Raleigh, Durham, Wilmington, Jacksonville, Smithfield, Roanoke Rapids and Ahoskie, North Carolina.

In addition to contract leasing, SHOR Real Estate, Inc. works directly with Tenants on site selection, both exclusively and non-exclusively. We work with a wide range of Tenants; from small regional tenants such as Padow’s Hams & Deli; to multi-store expansions for Party City, Household Finance, and Logans Roadhouse; we also have assisted national Tenants like, K-Mart and CVS/pharmacy, in sub-letting the space they have vacated.

As a further example of these services, we assisted Rite Aid Drug in the early 1990s in adding over a dozen new free standing stores to their chain and worked with ExtendedStay America in their expansion into the Commonwealth of Virginia.
